Description

The TMC Lightweight Chest Rig Expansion Panel is a low-profile chest rig accessory designed to increase the load-bearing and storage capabilities of the core chest rig. It provides the end-user with an intermediary configuration that is more robust than a stand-alone chest rig, but lighter and more compact. The TMC Lightweight Chest Rig Expansion Panel features two side pouches that will hold various radio unit models, two 30-round 5.56 magazines, or any other equipment comparable in size. The side pouches offer an improved solution to the legacy expander wings and are designed to accept multiple types of pouch closures. The kit includes material to integrate either a shock cord loop closure system or a non-elastic hook and loop closure tab to secure heavier items like radios. The sides of the pouches also feature dual-use attachment interfaces. There are 4 single-column MOLLE attachment points (one on each side of the pouches), as well as shock cord loop pass-through designed to provide a low-profile tourniquet or glove storage solution.
