Description

Due to high stress connected with energetic movement of the nozzle during operation of a gearbox, Laylax Prometheus has decided to manufacture an absorbing cylinder head from exceptionally durable and advanced materials. It was decided for that purpose the best would be reinforced aluminium, so-called duraluminium with a significantly higher resistance to mechanical wear caused by friction. This characteristic is further improved by anodizing that increases the surface hardness and lastingly protects it from rust. Precise CNC machines were used in the manufacturing process of this cylinder head and it was cut from a uniform block of material. Special head shape allows for lack of loss on the air stream and O-ring seal provides tightness of the system between the head and cylinder.
